Missions

INSTRUCTIONS for Thanking Your Mission Trip Supporters:

1)  Find out who supported you by calling the church office (601-853-0636) and ask for Cherita or Devin.  Or you can come by the church office and we can print you out a list.

2)  You have a couple options on how you go about thanking your supporters:
- Type/Write a Letter and mail it out to all your supporters (much like your support letters)
- Call each person up and talk to them on the phone (texting DOES NOT count!)
- Email them a letter

3)  Either way, you need to include the following in your thank you letter/phone call.  The goal of this letter/call is to show your appreciation and to give them an idea of how their money was used for the advancement of God's Kingdom.
-Telling supporters thanks...duh!
-Briefly explain the MAIN things that you did during the trip.
-Share what God taught you, and how it personally impacted you.
-Maybe share a cool story from Urban Camp or Worksite.
-Maybe ask for continual prayer as you try and apply what you learned on the mission trip to everyday life in jackson

4)  Thank your supporters AS SOON AS POSSIBLE (before school starts), while the trip is still fresh on your mind and your supporters.

5)  Optional:  Include a picture of you on the mission trip
