Devin Kahan, Junior High Coordinator
Devin has been leading the Jr. High Ministry at Highlands since July of 2007. He grew up in the suburbs of Orlando (he could NOT see Disney World from his bedroom window). He graduated from Furman University in 2005 with an Economics Degree. However, God called him into youth ministry. He moved to Mississippi in 2007 to do full-time middle school ministry at Highlands. In 2008, he started classes at RTS (Reformed Theologicaly Seminary) part-time, and finally graduated in 2015. After much blood, sweat, and tears, Devin finally found a wife! Karin and Devin got married in 2013. In 2015, God blessed them with a son named Macklin Jeffrey Kahan ("Son of God's Peace"). Devin loves to play all sports when he's not injured, which is about 15 days out of the year.
Jennifer Wolfe, Junior High Assistant Coordinator
Jennifer became the Jr. High Assistant Coordinator at the end of October, 2015. Originally from Upstate New York, she traveled all the way down to Jackson, MS to receive her Bachelor’s of Science in Arts Administration from Belhaven University. Jennifer through her various jobs (teaching dance, working with summer camps and administrative work at the Mississippi Arts Commission & the Mississippi Craft Center) has a great appreciation for the arts, but also has a huge passion for youth ministry. Through her time volunteering with Highland's youth, she has been so blessed to be engaged in the youth's lives, and she is excited to be a part of the HPCYM team. Jennifer's husband Christopher Wolfe is in his second year of seminary at Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, and he is also very involved with the youth ministry at Highlands. Jennifer enjoys quality time with her friends and family, roadtrips, singing, dancing, Christmas and coffee.
Billy Meenan, Senior High Coordinator
Billy became the Senior High Coordinator at Highlands in January of 2011. He was born and raised in the beautiful state of Colorado. After attending Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, GA, Billy transferred to Colorado State University in Ft. Collins, CO where he graduated with a degree in Psychology and was involved with Reformed University Fellowship. He completed internships with churches in Colorado Springs, CO, Hattiesburg, MS, and Eugene, OR, before serving at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Brandon, FL as the Director of Youth and Family Ministries in 2008. He is currently pursuing his Master of Divinity degree at Reformed Theological Seminary. Billy met his wife, Christina, during their time at Colorado State and they have a son named Bear and a daughter named Evelyn.
Mary Moore, Senior High Assistant Coordinator
Mary has been the Senior High Assistant Coordinator since September of 2015. She grew up in Newton, MS and recently moved to the Jackson area. She is in the process of completing her degree online through Mississippi State University. Mary, and her husband Kyle, enjoy ultimate frisbee, rock climbing, and owning too many pets. They have a daughter named Hartley.
